Data Acquisition The continuous unattended cycling of the battery requires a means of recording test data for evaluation. In 1974-1975 a data logging system was designed and built in- house for the purpose of continuous data logging of battery cell tests. It was de­ cided that this system would be used for data logging. The data logger is being used to record data on the l74kWH" battefy . Battery test parameters are read out and recorded on the teletypewriters (see Figure 26-4).
